my Story: The Journey of Flat Chic
Flat Chic was born from a deeply personal experience and a desire to fill a void in the fashion world for women who choose to remain flat after mastectomy. As the founder, my journey began with a breast cancer diagnosis that led me to opt for a double mastectomy with aesthetic flat closure. This choice, while empowering and right for me, came with an unexpected challenge: my wardrobe no longer fit my new body. I searched tirelessly for clothing designed to celebrate and complement a flat silhouette, only to find a glaring absence of options. This realization—that the fashion industry had overlooked an entire community of women—was the spark that ignited Flat Chic.
